Pull your idea apart

Write your idea down, and then look at every angle and possibility. What will make your business work? Where can the business progress to? Is there anything like it on the market already? What could go wrong? It may sound like a bad idea to focus on any negatives but if you are prepared for every eventuality, you will avoid a lot of hurdles. You need to know your product, idea, service inside out. You need to know every strong point and every weakness. You then need to take your weaknesses and work on ways to make it stronger. You need to look at any competitors and see how they do things. But don’t copy, find a way to be unique. Figure out your action plan to bring your idea to life.

Expect it, visualise it, and know the path you want to take. You have to know when to let go. I don’t mean by letting go of the business but with success comes growth. You need to know whether it’s important you do all the primary work, and then meaning you get someone in actually to run the business. Or delegating the primary work so you can focus on running your exciting venture. It could mean hiring more people, experts in their field. Anything from social media management to IT support can be hugely beneficial to you as you value your time appropriately. It’s important to know the path you want to take before you begin. Always visualise the end goal.
